The Wigwam Motel in Holbrook, Arizona, is a classic Route 66 motor court where each room is a freestanding concrete teepee. Built in 1950 as part of a small chain, its cluster of white cones with vintage cars parked outside is a nostalgic emblem of mid-century road-trip Americana, and it helped inspire the Cozy Cone Motel in the movie Cars.
