The coastal drive past Pebble Beach
17-Mile Drive is a scenic private toll road winding along the Pacific coast of the Monterey Peninsula in California, past the golf links of Pebble Beach, mansions, cypress groves, and rugged shoreline. Its most famous sight is the Lone Cypress, a solitary tree clinging to a granite outcrop above the sea, one of the most photographed trees in North America.
