The Hana Highway — the Road to Hana — winds about 64 miles (103 km) along the lush northeastern coast of Maui, Hawaii, past waterfalls, bamboo forests, black-sand beaches, and one-lane bridges. With some 600 curves and 50-plus narrow bridges, the journey is famously the destination, a slow drive through tropical rainforest to the remote town of Hana.
