Ohio Stadium in Columbus, home of the Ohio State Buckeyes, is the third-largest stadium in the United States, seating about 102,780. Opened in 1922 and known as "The Horseshoe" or "the Shoe" for its distinctive open-ended shape, it is a National Historic Landmark and one of the most recognizable venues in college sports.
