The Kancamagus Highway runs 34 miles (55 km) of New Hampshire Route 112 through the White Mountains, with no gas stations, hotels, or billboards along the way. Crossing the Kancamagus Pass amid national-forest peaks, waterfalls, and hardwood forest, "the Kanc" is celebrated as one of the finest fall-foliage drives in the country.
