Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) lies just south of the Las Vegas Strip in the Mojave Desert of southern Nevada, so close to the casinos that arriving passengers can see the skyline from the runway. Long known as McCarran International, it was renamed in 2021 for the late Nevada senator.

Ringed by desert mountains, it is one of the busiest airports in the country, funneling tens of millions of visitors a year to the resort city. Slot machines greet travelers in the terminals - a reminder of the city it serves.
