The Greenbrier Bunker

Beneath the luxurious Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, lies a vast Cold War bunker built in secret in the late 1950s to shelter the entire U.S. Congress in the event of nuclear war. Code-named "Project Greek Island," it held dormitories, a chamber for each house of Congress, and decades of supplies, hidden behind blast doors and disguised as an exhibit hall. Its cover was blown by a 1992 newspaper exposé, and it is now open for tours.
