Grand Central Terminal

Grand Central Terminal in Midtown Manhattan is the largest train station in the world by number of platforms, a 1913 Beaux-Arts landmark famous for its vast Main Concourse and the celestial mural of the zodiac painted across its vaulted ceiling. A four-faced brass clock crowns the central information booth. Saved from demolition in the 1970s, it remains a working commuter hub and one of New York's most beloved interiors.
