The Enchanted Highway

The Enchanted Highway is a 32-mile stretch of two-lane road in western North Dakota lined with a series of enormous scrap-metal sculptures — giant grasshoppers, geese in flight, a tin family, and a fisherman's dream. Built by a local man beginning in the 1990s to draw visitors to the dwindling town of Regent, it is billed as home to some of the world's largest metal sculptures.
