Cloud Gate ("The Bean")

Cloud Gate, universally nicknamed "The Bean," is a 33-foot-tall mirror-polished stainless-steel sculpture by Anish Kapoor in Chicago's Millennium Park. Unveiled in 2006, its seamless liquid-metal surface reflects and distorts the city skyline and the sky, and visitors can walk beneath its arched underside. It has become one of the most photographed public artworks in the country and a symbol of modern Chicago.
